The Pub

This pub operates under our Taverners Carvery format offering a classic, seven day a week carvery operation. With an emphasis on family friendly values, our main focus is on serving high quality, hearty food that tastes just as good as home made - just the way our customers like it!

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be a talented chef who is able work in a high pressure environment and who has an eye for presentation. As second in command you will be working in the busy kitchen supporting the Head Chef to ensure that all equipment is well maintained and, in the absence of the Head Chef, managing the kitchen team. You and the team will produce the best quality branded dishes. You’ll know food safety and hygiene like the back of your hand. You’ll be a confident communicator who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. As part of the kitchen team you will be a key ingredient in the success of this business!

The Ideal Cook / Line Chef

As a skilful and talented chef, with an eye for presentation and a perfectionist for class you’ll know all there is to know about food preparation and portion control. Working within a busy kitchen supporting the Head Chef you must ensure that all equipment is maintained, cleaned and working correctly at all times. You’ll be responsible for reporting on any malfunctions or hazards and complete Risk Assessment as instructed by the Management team. To have a sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene is also crucial to be successful in this role.
